H.M.C.S. UGANDA AND H.M.C.S. QUEBEC
The Cruiser was commissioned by the Royal Navy on December 17th, 1942 as HMS UGANDA
She was re-commissioned by the Royal Canadian Navy on October 21st, 1944, as HMCS Uganda.
In 1951 she was taken out of the reserve fleet and after a well deserved refit she was commissioned as H.M.C.S. Quebec on the West Coast on the 14th. January 1952 and arrived in Halifax under the command of Captain P. D. Budge DSC CD in March 1952.
The ship was decommissioned on June 13th. 1956
