                                         H.M.C.S. UGANDA AND H.M.C.S. QUEBEC

The Cruiser was commissioned by the Royal Navy on December 17th, 1942 as HMS UGANDA

She was re-commissioned by the Royal Canadian Navy on October 21st, 1944, as HMCS Uganda.

In 1951 she was taken out of the reserve fleet and after a well deserved refit she was commissioned as H.M.C.S. Quebec on the West Coast on the 14^th. January 1952 and arrived in Halifax under the command of Captain P. D. Budge DSC CD in March 1952. 

The ship was decommissioned on June 13th. 1956
